The space that houses Center of Life was once two separate buildings; a church, and a residence. These buildings were later joined, but still retain much of their original architecture. What is now Keystone Church began in 1925 as First Hungarian Lutheran Church. For many years, the church provided Hungarian immigrants with a place to gather and worship in their native language.
The other part of the COL space was once a private home, owned by Pennsylvania Senator George Tenner Oliver. In the late 1800's, the mansion also housed the "Oliver and Roberts Wire Company."
