What is Fusion?
Fusion is a program developed by the Center of Life that presents a fresh way to approach after school learning. Fusion is a family engagement program that enables parents and guardians to participate in after school academic help with their children. As a partnership with the Pittsburgh Public Schools, Center of Life, Hazelwood Presbyterian Church and Hazelwood YMCA, Fusion will offer quality volunteers from Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh to assist in tutoring and homework help. The tutoring curriculum will be lead by Pittsburgh Public School teachers in Math, English, Science and Reading.
How do I get involved?
Fusion is held in the evening at the Hazelwood branch of the Carnegie Library. If you are a student or parent interested in registering, or would like more information about Fusion please:
