Letter from the Pastor

Merry Christmas!

I wanted to take this opportunity to give you an update on what has happened this year. This past year we have had the priviledge of working with teenagers and young adults in several entrepreneurial adventures. These businesses have included yard work, an all occasion card business, snow removal, music gigs and even producing a Christmas CD. We have also linked business owners with youth in the community to give them first hand experience on what it means to be your own boss. But in all of our efforts we have always stressed the importance of giving God the glory first and foremost, and asking what is His will in each project. We know that if we do God's wil,l we are guaranteed success!

We call COL "an inside job", because we believe that the gifts, talents, and skills needed to revitalize our community are already within our community. Therefore, we want to empower all those within our circle of influence to effectively develop and use those assets and abilities that are right at their fingertips. We desire to see lives changed for the better and we are dedicated to going the distance so that we can see the change when it happens.
