Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Eli joined COL Jazz as a student in 2015 before being brought on board as a staff member for the jazz program in the Spring of 2022. He’s worked a variety of jobs, such as Sunburst School of Music and Post Genre. Eli’s favorite thing about Hazelwood is the tree swings on Flower Avenue and being able to see people enjoy their day. His favorite thing about work is seeing himself and the students improve their musical abilities together. When not at work, Eli can be found studying with local musicians or playing with his band. 

It is important to me that jazz education embodies the spirit, values, and intentions of the people who made this music.
