After living in Pittsburgh for 12 years, Angel Mckinstry joined Center of Life on March 1, 2022. Prior to joining COL, Angel was a Community Health Worker for Duquesne University. She’s also worked for Aveanna Health Center as a Certified Home Health Aide. Angel is a graduate of CCAC. She’s also obtained various certifications and is a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Certified Community Health Worker. 

Angel’s favorite thing about Hazelwood is how close knit everyone is and how transparent they are about their wishes for the community. Her favorite thing about her job is building relationships with children, families, and guardians and being able to gain their trust over time. 

Everything is about people, and I love to help people! The children are the future.
