Doug has been with COL for nearly the organization’s entire history. His first project was Center of Life Christmas in 2004. From there, he worked for COL on and off until joining the team full-time in 2013. After graduating from Penn State, Doug moved to Pittsburgh and has been here ever since. His work experience ranges from just about any position in the food service industry, to touring with bands, and even cameraman and video editor for a television show. 

“My line of work is mostly used to make commercials to sell things. It’s very transactional. Many years ago, when we had more free time, PT and I would have breakfast at Lindo’s on Western Avenue several times a year. During one of those meals, he said something that has never left me. ‘We can’t lose the people who are falling through the cracks. I want to be down there in the cracks making sure no one falls through.’”
